Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Sagar Path Academy collects through this website, why we collect it, how we use it and what control you have over it. We have written it in plain language on purpose.

What we collect

We only collect information you type into one of our forms. Specifically:

  • Career counselling booking: student name, mobile number, city, current class or status, reason for interest, and optionally your email and a parent’s mobile number.
  • Admission form: full name, date of birth, mobile number, address, parent or guardian name and mobile number, 12th status, PCM percentage, chosen course, and an optional medical declaration.
  • Contact form: name, phone number, query type, and optionally your email and a message.
  • Free resources: name, mobile number and optionally email and city.
  • Technical information: the page you submitted from, your browser user-agent, and a one-way hash of your IP address. The hash lets us detect spam and abuse; it cannot be reversed back into your IP address.

Why we collect it

  • To contact you and schedule your counselling session
  • To process an admission enquiry and confirm your course, fee and batch
  • To answer the question you asked us
  • To send you the free resources you requested
  • To prevent spam and automated abuse of our forms

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
  • We do not share your details with education agents or third-party recruiters.
  • We do not send marketing messages to people who only requested free resources.
  • We do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers on this website.

Payments

This website does not process card payments and does not store any payment information. The ₹150 counselling booking fee is paid directly by UPI to 9636263149@hdfc using your own UPI application. We only see the screenshot you choose to send us on WhatsApp.

Where your data is stored

Form submissions are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway. Access is limited to authorised Sagar Path Academy staff through a password-protected admin panel.

How long we keep it

Enquiry and counselling records are kept for as long as they are useful for supporting you as a student or prospective student. You can ask us to delete your data at any time and we will do so, unless we are required to retain it for accounting or legal reasons.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] or WhatsApp +91 96362 63149 and we will action the request.

Children’s data

Many of our students are under 18. Where a student is a minor, we ask for a parent or guardian’s contact details and we encourage parents to be present during counselling. A parent or guardian may exercise all of the rights above on the student’s behalf.
